About Danny Fusto:

I’ve always been inspired by classical illustration, and I enjoy creating subtle narrative-driven, moody environments. I love when the viewer leaves more curious than when they came. The past few years I’ve been focused on illustrating whimsical, dilapidated structures and houses, as well as colorful landscapes.

Since moving to Brooklyn I’ve been inspired by the graffiti-covered brownstones. Particularly, ones with illuminating windows that glow at night.

I’ve always been drawn to a variety of styles and genres. More typically, I lean towards colorful, moody and surreal images that trigger wonder and curiosity. A forgotten place, or somewhere lost to time.

Primarily working with watercolors on paper and oil paintings on wood panel.

I create from my home studio in Brooklyn.
